Every picture tells a story of how the cow lived and under what conditions. Each hide directly reflects the effects of life on the range. If you look closely you can see: healed scars, scratches, variations in colour, scrapes, varied grain wrinkles and even occasional bites from insects. All of these natural markings are a signature of genuine leather. These beauty marks highlight the difference between a natural product and man-made materials. Your efforts to follow the advised care and maintenance tips will help your NUBUCK leather meet your expectations.

Care tips for Aniline, Natural, Unprotected, Pure or Naked Leathers
Try to maintain at least two feet between your furniture & heating sources. Prolonged exposure to heat vents or radiators will cause drying out of your leather.
Protect your furniture from all forms of sunlight. All Nubuck leathers will fade when placed in sunlight. Do not place your furniture in windows, under skylights, or in places that will put your furniture in sunlight.
Keep the Leather dust-free with weekly vacuuming. Use Leather Master Nubuck Cleaning Cloth to pick up surface soiling and return the Leather to its original look and feel. Simply wrap the cloth around a soft dry sponge and rub the Leather in several directions to lift soiling and renew the Nubuck effect. This will also reverse flat and shiny areas that appear from use. |

All leathers perform better when preventative maintenance is practiced. Treatment of the surface with Leather Master Nubuck Protector will greatly improve the Leather’s resistance to staining and soiling. It is most important that you treat the high use areas like seats, arms and backs.
For water based stains, use the Leather Master Nubuck Cleaner. Apply the cleaner to a soft sponge and squeeze to produce white foam. Gently work the foam into the area with the sponge. Allow to dry and use the Nubuck Cleaning Cloth to renew the Nubuck effect, then apply Nubuck Protector. For oil based stains, use Leather Master Degreaser. |
